DIY snowman made from plastic cups step by step
The symbol of the New Year, in addition to Father Frost and the Snow Maiden, is the Snowman. But often the weather outside the window does not allow it to be blinded just before the holidays. And not all cities have snow.
You can create a snowman not only from natural precipitation, but also from materials such as paper, fabric or, for example, plastic. You can make a large winter hero that will look beautiful both on the street and in the apartment from ordinary disposable cups, from which you usually drink water at a picnic or in offices, or from the bottoms of bottles of mineral water or carbonated drinks. First, you should figure out how to make a snowman from plastic cups with your own hands step by step.
The main material for its manufacture is plastic disposable cups. You will need a lot of them. Just in case, you can buy three hundred pieces, usually each pack contains one hundred cups.
In addition to the cups, you will need good glue, a stapler, and materials to give the snowman eyes and a nose. To create them, you can use plasticine, colored paper, cardboard and tinsel.
The snowman will consist of two circles, but since it must be stable, the lower part should look like a hemisphere.

The first row will require 25 cups. They need to be laid out in the shape of a circle so that the bottoms are directed inward. The top parts of the glasses must be connected using a stapler.
After this, you can form the second row. This will also require twenty-five cups. Each of them needs to be stapled with a glass from the first row and the adjacent one.

The glasses are shaped like a cone, so the next rows, of which there are usually seven in the bottom circle, will require fewer and fewer parts. It is not necessary to completely form the top of the ball, because you will need to place the top part of the snowman on it.
When the body is ready, you can move on to creating the head. The first row of this ball should consist of only eighteen cups. The upper part of the snowman must be assembled in the same way as the lower part. But in this case, you should try to make sure that the cups go as deep inside as possible. After the top of the ball has acquired a round shape, it must be turned over and a few more rows added.

This ball doesn't have to be complete either. There should be two small holes left on opposite sides.
Two balls will be enough to make a cute snowman. If you add a third lump, most likely the figure will constantly fall, but this way it will turn out to be quite stable.
To finish creating a snowman, you need to connect two balls together so that the bottom of the snowman is larger than the top. You can also fasten them with a stapler or glue.
Now you can make the snowman's eyes and nose. They can be molded from plasticine, or they can be made from paper or cardboard. You can hide the “hole” in the snowman’s head using a cap, hat or paper bucket. In addition, you can make a scarf for a snowman from paper or tinsel.

This is how easy it is to create a snowman from plastic cups with your own hands, following all the steps step by step, it will be difficult to make a mistake.
You can put a Christmas tree garland or a flashlight in the lower part of the snowman. And then it will glow very beautifully. We also recommend making it for a real festive atmosphere.

Snowman made from bottles
In order to make a snowman that can be placed even outside, you can use the most ordinary plastic bottles. You can take both large and small, but for the craft you will only need the bottoms. A white snowman will look good, so it is better to coat the prepared parts of the bottles with white paint in advance.

While the blanks are drying, you can make the basis of the future decoration, that is, the frame for the snowman. You can use strong wire for this. It is necessary to form two balls of different sizes - one for the body and the other for the head. The balls also need to be connected using wire. Then the frame needs to be wrapped with ropes - this is necessary so that all the parts are well secured.
When the frame is ready, you need to collect all the bottoms of the bottles into one large garland. To do this, you need to make two holes in each part on different sides. After this, all the bottoms need to be strung on a strong rope.
Then you need to wrap the resulting garland around the frame and secure it in several places with ropes or pieces of wire.
Now you need to make the snowman's eyes and nose - you can also use painted parts of plastic bottles for this. In addition, you can pick up a real large scarf for the snowman and make a hat from a basin or plastic bucket.

Winter is coming, which means one of the most favorite holidays of the year - New Year - will soon come. To give yourself and your loved ones a festive mood, we suggest making a funny snowman from plastic cups with your own hands. Using our step-by-step instructions, this will not be difficult. The product will not only decorate your home or yard, but will also give you and your children a lot of joy.

What you need to create a snowman from plastic cups

Making a snowman from disposable cups is not difficult at all. They taper downwards and this shape allows the formation of spherical structures. You don’t need expensive materials or any special tools, because glasses are cheap, and a stapler is found in almost every home. In addition, making such a craft will not take you much time and will be a great way to have fun for the whole family.

You may need the following tools and materials:

  • plastic cups - 300 pcs.;
  • stapler;
  • staples - pack 1 yew. PC.;
  • glue or glue gun;
  • transparent tape;
  • Double-sided tape;
  • scissors;
  • elements for decoration.

The number of cups may vary. This primarily depends on the size of the snowman, the number of parts of which it will consist, and the shape of the body - a sphere or hemisphere. Cups can be chosen either the same size or different. For the body you can take regular 100 ml cups, and for the head small ones, 50 ml.

Choose glasses with narrow rims as they are easier to staple.

The main tool for creating a snowman is a stapler. You will need the most ordinary office stapler and a pack of staples (approximately 1000 pieces). The number of staples used will depend on how the snowman is made. If you decide to use glue or double-sided tape, then you will need much less.

It is better to take universal polymer glue, which is designed for joining plastic parts. It's great if you have a glue gun. It makes it very convenient to precisely apply glue. You can also use double-sided tape.

Glue and tape are more of auxiliary materials. It is not necessary to use them, since the cups can be connected using just staples.

Options for snowmen made from plastic cups

All options are quite similar to each other. The glasses are connected in such a way that the result is a ball or hemisphere. This can be done in two ways: using a stapler or glue. Let's consider both methods.

Step-by-step instructions for creating using a stapler

This is the easiest and fastest way. In addition to the stapler, you will also need tape. For decoration, prepare colored cardboard, tinsel to decorate the Christmas tree, or a regular scarf. Cardboard is needed to make eyes, nose and buttons. Tinsel or a scarf is tied between the “head” and “torso” so that the image of our homemade snowman is complete.

The snowman will consist of two parts - the body and the head. The cups are connected to each other only with the help of a stapler. We suggest making the lower part from large cups (164 pcs.), and the upper part from small ones (100 pcs.). You can, of course, use the same dishes, but then the head and body of the snowman will be the same.

They “sculpt” a snowman in stages:

  1. Lower body.
  2. Head.
  3. Attaching the torso to the head.
  4. Decoration.

First they make the lower part. To allow the snowman to stand on the floor, the bottom ball is not completely covered and a hole is left. The head is “sculpted” from small cups and is also not completely covered. A small hole will be needed to attach the top to the bottom.

The cups are placed with the bottom inside the ball, aligning the outer walls with each other.

As for the decor, you can limit yourself to only making eyes, nose and buttons. Or you can give yourself and your loved ones a real holiday and place an LED garland inside the finished snowman.

Let's look at making a snowman step by step:

  1. Open the package of cups and lift them off each other.
  2. Lay out a circle of 17 pieces and fasten the cups together with a stapler from the rim side.
  3. This will be the basis of the “torso”.
  4. Line up the second row in a circle: the upper glasses are placed between the two lower ones, as if filling the space between them.

  5. Fasten the top row with the main one (the top glass with the bottom and so on in a circle).
  6. Fasten the glasses from the second row together.
  7. Do the rest of the rows in the same way. You should get a hemisphere - this will be the upper part of the body.
  8. Make the lower hemisphere in the same way, only it will already have a small hole and consist of four rows.
  9. Connect the bottom of the sphere to the top using the same stapler.
  10. Now start making the “head”. Everything is the same: we line up the main row of small glasses (also 17 pieces), then the next row (15 pieces) and so on until we get a sphere.
  11. We also leave a hole in the “head” the size of one glass.
  12. Now you will need to make a “rod” to connect the head to the body.
  13. Take 2 glasses and make three cuts on each, 4 cm deep.
  14. Place one glass at the very top of the body so that each cut part is in the glass below.
  15. For reliability, wrap the glass with tape so that the cuts do not “go” upward.
  16. Place another glass on top of the first and also secure with tape.
  17. To prevent the glasses from falling out of the structure, glue their ends with tape to the inner walls of the cups.
  18. Place the “head” on the resulting rod.

That's it, the snowman is almost ready. All that remains is to glue on the eyes and nose, and also make a headdress.

The snowman can be made of three parts, but then it will be unstable and you will need more cups and staples.

How to decorate and “revive” a snowman

Prepare colored cardboard, scissors and glue. It is better to use two types of glue. One for working with paper, that is, regular stationery or PVA, and polymer glue for gluing the decor to the snowman. If you have double-sided tape, you can use it. What and how to do:

    Eyes. Cut out two large circles with a diameter of 5 cm from black cardboard, and two small circles with a diameter of 1–2 cm from white paper. Glue the white circles onto the larger ones. That's it, your eyes are ready.

    Nose. To make a carrot nose, you will need orange cardboard. Cut a circle with a radius of 15 cm and draw two lines from its center, perpendicular to each other. It should be 1/4 of a circle. Cut out the resulting triangle, leaving a 1 cm wide allowance on one side. Glue the triangle into a cone.

    Buttons. For buttons you will need colored cardboard. Trace the glass and cut out three circles. Then cut out six small circles from white paper and glue two on each button.

    Decoration. Glue on the eyes, buttons, nose and hat, and then tie a scarf or glitter tinsel where you want the neck to be. That's it, your wonderful snowman is ready!

You can also make a headdress from the same cardboard, for example, a cylinder.

In the same way, you can connect the structural parts using glue. The glasses are lined up in a circle and glued together.

If you want the snowman to glow like a Christmas tree, then put an LED garland inside and connect it to electricity.

How to make a product yourself using a glue gun

You will need about 300 cups of the same size, a stapler, staples and a glue gun. The essence of this method is that you need to combine a connection with staples and a connection with glue. Do the following:

  1. Place a circle of glasses (17 pcs.) on a flat surface. This will be the main row.
  2. Secure each glass with a stapler.
  3. Apply glue to each glass approximately in the middle (make a circle).
  4. Place the next row of glasses on top. This way you will form a hemisphere.
  5. Wait a few minutes and allow the adhesive joint to set.
  6. Additionally, fasten the glasses together in the top row.
  7. Next, place the glasses so that they move inside the structure.
  8. Apply glue to each row and fasten the glasses together in one row.
  9. When the upper hemisphere is completely ready, proceed to the lower part of the body.
  10. For the first row you should need 15 cups (just in case, count how many glasses you got in the second row of the hemisphere).
  11. The lower hemisphere should be unfinished; it is enough to make three rows. Then the snowman will stand steadily on the floor and not fall.
  12. Make a head, also from two hemispheres. There is no need to leave a hole.

  13. When the head and body are ready, make a “rod” from two glasses. Use it to connect the top and bottom parts.
  14. Connect the glasses together so that the rim of one glass fits into the rim of the other (you can make several cuts on one glass).
  15. Wrap with tape so that the structure does not fall apart.
  16. Place one end of the “rod” into the uppermost glass of the body, and put the head on the other. For reliability, pour a little glue into each glass in which you will place the “rod”.
  17. Start decorating the finished snowman. You can put a funny Santa Claus hat on your head or leave it as is.

If you make a snowman from the same dishes, then both parts will turn out the same. We advise you to resort to a little trick. When you make the head, slightly squeeze the glasses at the bottom - the ball will be smaller.

By connecting rows of glasses with glue, you will achieve a tighter fit between them.

We create using transparent tape and a stapler

You will need regular transparent tape, not very narrow, but not wide either. This method differs from the previous ones in that you need to start making the ball from beginning to end, that is, you do not need to make two hemispheres and then connect them to each other. Do the following:

  1. Connect 5 cups together by wrapping them with tape. Connect in such a way that their outer walls touch each other as tightly as possible.
  2. Additionally, connect them using a stapler.
  3. Next, start attaching glasses in a circle, forming a ball yourself. This will be the torso.
  4. When the ball is ready, proceed to the head. It should have a large hole at the bottom so that it can be more securely attached to the body.
  5. Build a circle of cups, connecting them with tape. Additionally, secure the cups with a stapler.
  6. Next, use a stapler to attach the remaining cups.
  7. Place the top piece on top of the bottom piece. Connect using a stapler or glue.
  8. Decorate as you wish.

Using tape you will achieve a stronger connection between the parts. For this craft you will need approximately 350 pieces. cups and 2 packs of staples (it’s better to play it safe and take more).

DIY snowman made from plastic cups

To work, you will need 324 disposable cups. It is better to buy them in bulk, in separate packages. Of course, there is a risk that you will come across dented or defective dishes, but this will not affect the appearance of the craft. It is better to start work from the very bottom row. To create it you will need 25 blanks. They are easily connected to each other using a stapler. All subsequent rows overlap each other and touch each other. This is necessary in order to obtain a solid structure, since during connection a large number of elements burst.

To create a craft, it is best to use dishes with a small rim or no rim at all, because it greatly slows down the work during stapler. The bottom row is created quickly, without much hassle. To create the head you will need to squeeze the bottoms of the glasses. As a result, you will end up with a ball with a smaller radius than the body. Now you need to attach the head to the body and start decorating. Fill one glass with any dense material, make a scarf from a beautiful fabric, and add stars and buttons to the craft. Make a nose for the snowman from glued red and white glasses and attach it to the head.

Snowman made from plastic cups step by step.

In order for the toy to be stable, the first row must be made just perfectly. You should end up with an even hemisphere. Place the glasses in a circle, securing them together with staplers. For the first row you will need 25 tbsp. Place the following blanks on top and secure with a stapler. For each subsequent row, an ever smaller amount of disposable tableware will be used.

The next lump should be smaller and more round in shape. Take 18 tbsp, lay them out in a circle, repeat the whole process, as in the first case. Turn the base upside down, lay a few more rows, but do not do it all the way. The second piece should be unfinished. There is no need to make 3 snowballs, since the craft will not be stable. After creating the necessary details, you can start decorating the craft.

Necessary materials:

— disposable glasses – 300 pcs.
- packaging of paper clips for the stapler

Stages of work:

All dishes must be the same, otherwise the joints will not meet. Remember that a ball cannot be made from only 6 squares. To work you will need both 5 and 6 squares. You can put an LED garland inside the craft. It will allow your snowman to glow at night. Lay out 25 glasses first in a circle and secure them with paper clips. All cups should go slightly inside the row. This is necessary to create a hemisphere.

You should not strive to make a perfect ball, since it is quite unstable. Place the following rows. For the bottom ball you will need to lay 7 rows. With each subsequent row you will need less and less disposable tableware. The workpiece must remain open, since the next ball must be completed on top. To create the head, prepare 18 tbsp. The head will be smaller in size, unlike the body. Lay out the elements in a circle until you have formed a head. If you can't finish the head, don't worry, you'll need to put a cap or hat on top.

Place the small ball on the large one and check the craft for stability. Attach the balls together, decorate the head, make eyes from plasticine or black fabric. The nose will be made of red paper. Hang tinsel on top and insert a garland inside so that the toy glows at night. If you create a toy with three balls, it will not be stable.

To create this simple craft, you will need about 300 disposable glasses. You can fasten the elements together with glue or staples. To create stability, do not try to make a perfect sphere. The lump should look more like a hemisphere. Lay out the parts in a circle, fasten with staples. The first row will take 25 stitches. The next row will require the same number of elements. But each subsequent row will include fewer and fewer glasses. Attach them to the surface of the previous row using a stapler.

The next lump will be smaller in size. Take 18 cups, place them in a circle, repeat the whole process. Turn it over and lay down a few more rows. It is necessary to not lay the parts all the way to the very end. The second ball also does not need to be completed. The third ball should be discarded, because the craft will be unstable.

Making a snowman from plastic cups with your own hands is simple and easy, step by step. The creative process is so fascinating that you can safely involve children and the whole family in it. It’s best to choose a quiet day off to make a snowman, and we recommend making a big snowman right away. Even if only two balls are taken, as in the master class given in this material, they should be large and beautiful.

Of course, before, it may not have even occurred to you that you could make a snowman out of plastic cups. But today, due to global warming, snow rarely falls in December, and if there is precipitation, it is so little that it can be extremely difficult to make an ordinary snowman. Therefore, we offer an option on how to make a snowman from plastic cups with your own hands, step by step with photos. This is not to say that this method is fast, but it is definitely simple.

How to prepare for work

In order to make such a snowman, you need to buy a whole bag of white plastic cups. Also for work you will need orange plasticine, from which the carrot nose is made, black plasticine for the eyes and other additional elements. You can't do without a large number of staples and a stapler, as well as regular glue.

Important!
Fastening the glasses together, as shown in the figure, is quite simple using a stapler. But, if you don’t have it on hand or you prefer to work with glue, then you can safely use this option for fastening the cups together.

In order for the snowman made from plastic cups to end up not only huge, but cute and cozy, you need to additionally think about a bright scarf for him, perhaps a hat or other themed headdress.

Step #1

When all the preparation described in the section above has been completed, you can safely begin to build our snowman. It will consist, as can be seen from the photographs, of only two balls. First we make the bottom ball.

The first row of glasses that are fastened together should not be a perfect ball, you need to stick to the shape of a hemisphere. Lay out the glasses according to the shape, and then fasten them with staples or just glue (note that the stapler fastens the glasses, but the glue needs to be held for a while so that it has enough time to dry).

The second row requires the same number of cups; they, of course, are attached to the first row using the already chosen method. Each subsequent row requires fewer and fewer glasses. By the way, glasses should be cone-shaped. In the beginning, it will be difficult with the first 2-3 rows, but then, as they say, the process will go “like clockwork.”

Step #2

Next, a second lump is made for our snowman. It should be smaller in size than the first lump, because this will already be the head of the product. You will need about 18 glasses for the first row. Lay them out in a circle and fasten them together, repeat the entire process of creating a large ball. Then turn the ball upside down and make several additional rows, but do not complete it. The second com should not be completely finished in the end.

Step #3

The classic snowman has three balls. In principle, you can repeat this design. But, if you create a snowman from plastic cups with your own hands, step by step for the first time, then it is better to start with two balls, as described in this master class. Otherwise, a beginner’s design may turn out to be unstable.

The second ball should be placed on the first one and make sure that it has become well and the Snowman does not sway from side to side. When everything is done as it should, you can begin to decorate our Snowman. There is more that can be done.

Step #4

As for additional decor, here, of course, you can let your imagination run wild. Someone doesn’t want to leave the snowman white, so they start coloring the cups. This is also correct and no one can stop you from doing this: this is completely and entirely your snowman.

In this master class, we propose to focus on classic decoration. Make a carrot from plasticine (you can use real carrots), make eyes and a mouth from plasticine, don’t forget about a scarf, mittens, and a hat.

Step #5

Perhaps the fifth step will come as a surprise to someone, because after the additional decoration the Snowman is already in full holiday readiness. But we suggest making the product even brighter. To do this, we find a permanent place for our Snowman (not far from the outlet).

Now you need to put a garland under the first ball on which the snowman stands. It can be a single-color or multi-colored garland. All that remains is to light the Christmas tree garland so that our Snowman made from plastic cups becomes 100% original, elegant and New Year’s.

Important! You should not put a lamp in the ball, although it may fit there in size. The fact is that the lamp gets very hot, even if it is a modern savings option. As a result, the cups will begin to melt from the long burning of the paw, and this can lead to a fire or other unpleasant consequences.

It’s so easy, you can make a Snowman from plastic cups with your own hands, everything is described step by step and shown in this material, so you just need to get down to business. The process of creating this snowman is fun and interesting, so don’t hide in a corner, involve your family members, definitely children, in creating such a great craft.

It seems to us that the Snowman is one of the important domestic symbols of the New Year and Christmas holidays. The craft described in this material is simple and not at all financially expensive, but the snowman turns out to be huge and very beautiful. Such a festive experiment will be remembered for a long time by you and your friends, relatives and all guests.

One of the simplest and most entertaining crafts for the New Year is a DIY snowman made from plastic cups. This figurine is very simple to make, so kids will probably want to take part in such an easy work.

The result is a beautiful, large snowman that can be illuminated with LEDs and placed next to the Christmas tree. From cups you can make both huge and medium-sized or even a small figurine.

It all depends on the size and quantity of the starting material. The article provides step-by-step instructions and a video on how to make a snowman from plastic and paper disposable cups, which will help you create this model in a matter of hours.

The most important question is how many plastic cups will be needed for a snowman?

  • If you focus on a figure of 2 balls about 1 meter high - no less than 300 white (but not transparent) glasses. Moreover, this is the minimum amount.
  • If you want to make a classic snowman from 3 balls, you should stock up on 500 glasses, or it’s better to take 600-700 with a reserve. All cups should be white and preferably without rims so that the joints are not noticeable.

You also need to keep in mind that the most stable figure is the two balls. And if a third is added, you need to think about additional support (the base on the bottom of the first ball) or fasten all 3 with a cardboard stick from behind.

We will also need the following items:

  • stapler (small paper clips);
  • super glue (transparent only);
  • colored paper and tinsel for decoration;
  • colored cardboard for creating eyes, spouts, etc.;
  • hat with glitter - can be purchased at any supermarket on New Year's Eve;
  • knitted scarf.

And most importantly, we will need LEDs for lighting. In the classic version, they should be white - then the snowman looks just like a real one.

Although it is quite acceptable to use other shades - for example, blue or yellow. Or you can even take a multi-colored flashing garland.

DIY snowman made from plastic cups: step-by-step instructions

Plastic cups are inexpensive and almost weightless, so the entire manufacturing process is very easy, literally and figuratively. The main requirement is accuracy. We just carefully create row by row, and then connect the balls, embed diodes and decorate the figure.

Here's how to make a snowman out of plastic cups:

Step 1. We start with the bottom ball - this is the base of the body. The first row will consist of 25 cups or 30-35 - depending on what sizes you choose. We will fasten the glasses with a stapler from the rim side, i.e. literally along the line to which tea is poured.

Step 2. The result is such a round base - it is quite stable, so it can hold the entire structure in the correct position. Please note that all cups should lie freely relative to each other. And you don’t need to fasten them too tightly - the main thing is that the row turns out smooth and neat.

Step 3. All subsequent rows will be arranged in a checkerboard pattern: i.e. each top glass lies between the two bottom ones. Accordingly, each subsequent row is reduced by exactly 2 cups. We also make fastenings between the rows using a stapler.

Step 4. So, the second row is ready. Next, the principle is quite clear - we do the third, fourth, etc. until you get a finished hemisphere. However, we do not close it completely. We do not finish the last 3-4 rows - we need to leave a small hole, as shown in the photo.

At the intermediate stage of production, by the way, you get such a ballet tutu - you can give it to the kids, let them play. You just have to stock up on new cups.

Step 5. Well, now from jokes to action. We make the head. It can be the same or slightly smaller size.

For example, the first row of the body was made of 25 elements - then the first row of the head will be made of 19. In this case, the head should have the shape of a real ball, we leave only that very small hole in it, the size of which is 1 glass, and not 4 rows, as in the previous one case.

Step 6. Now all that remains is to connect both halves together. We take 2 cups, on each we make longitudinal cuts of 4-5 cm at an equal distance. We insert them into the cut, like into grooves, and glue them with tape to be sure. The result is a kind of rod, which is inserted into the body at one end and into the head at the other.

Step 7. Actually, we have already made a snowman from glasses with our own hands. Both of its parts are easily connected and separated, which will be needed when installing LEDs or a garland inside the figure.

Let him rest for now, and we will do the decorations. Let's make, for example, a cone out of orange paper - this is a carrot nose.

Step 8. And also - eyes, buttons, a scarf made of colored paper. By the way, you can also make a hat yourself: roll a sheet of colored cardboard into a cylinder, cut out a circle (flats) and insert one part into another, decorate with a ribbon. The result is such a cute little snowman - the main participant in the New Year's corporate party.

Now all that remains is to install the garland inside. You can clearly see the entire process of manufacturing and installing LEDs here.

How to make a snowman from paper cups

How can you make a snowman out of cups if the holiday is very close or there are a few minutes left before the start of a fun corporate party? No problem.

We run to the nearest store or coffee shop. But not for coffee, but for glasses for this noble drink. These containers are most often made of paper, so you can easily draw a cute face on them, which will allow, so to speak, to humanize our snowman. And of course, let’s not forget about colored paper, paints and other decoration methods.

Or you can go the very simple route and buy drinking yogurt. This is definitely a combination of business and pleasure.

Here's how to quickly and easily make this cute figurine.

10 ways to decorate a snowman using disposable cups

Of course, there are a huge number of options for decorating a figurine. You can, for example, stock up on glasses of different colors - then you’ll get a snowman like this.

Or decorate it with diodes of a pleasant blue hue.

Another simple option is decorating with tinsel.

Or this “set” of a gentleman.

And of course, “playing” with light gives endless creative freedom. For the same figurine, you can stock up on at least two LED garlands with different colors - you get a real New Year's fairy tale.

It was already mentioned above that it is best to take white rather than transparent glasses. However, in principle this is not a strict rule.

With transparent containers, the snowman also turns out to be very interesting - it feels like it is made of magical ice. But you definitely need to illuminate it - remember, for example, how pleasantly the ice figures glow in the park.

Well, here is a real creative snowman. Cheerful, red and, apparently, athletic.

The head of the figurine can be made 1.5-2 times smaller than the body. Then the model turns out to be especially neat.

Or you can make 2 identical balls - it’s a matter of taste.

And finally, an example of a 3-ball model. It is clear that she is, after all, unstable.

But this problem can be solved by leaning the figurine against the wall and placing a pillow under the base. Perhaps this snowman is simply tired of the New Year's fuss - but still he is still in service.

Here are some cute figures you can create from almost waste material. A few hundred glasses and a little patience will work wonders. New Year's miracles.

Happy holiday!

An idea for creating a snowman in our harsh times, when you can’t even ask for snow. An option for that emergency when you urgently need a snowman, but there is no snow and no plans. You will need a whole bag of white plastic cups, orange and black plasticine, a stapler or glue. You can fasten the glasses with glue or a stapler. We sculpt eyes and a carrot nose from plasticine. We decorate with an unnecessary scarf and the snowman will be the envy of everyone!

How to build a snowman from plastic cups

In order for the snowman to be stable, the bottom row should not be a perfect ball, but almost a hemisphere. We lay out the glasses in a circle, fastening them together with a stapler. The first row of this snowman took twenty-five glasses.

For the next row we use the same number of cups, fasten them on top of the bottom row, also using a stapler. Each subsequent row will require fewer and fewer cups, since all the glasses are cone-shaped. The main thing is to start, in the process of collecting everything will become much clearer.

The next snowman ball should be rounder and slightly smaller. To do this, take eighteen glasses, also lay them out in a circle, and repeat the whole process, as with the first hemisphere. Then we turn it upside down and lay out a few more rows, but not all the way. Your second piece should not be finished either.

You shouldn’t make three “snowballs” like a classic snowman. In this case it will be very unstable. Try installing the second ball on the first and make sure everything looks decent. And if everything is in order, move on to decorating the snowman! For decoration, you can use real carrots and pieces of fabric, or you can glue together a fake hat. You can also place a Christmas tree garland under such a snowman and turn it on.
